It was an extremely engaging and uplifting day, bursting at the seams with stimulating discussion and exchange of ideas, in which each and every delegate played a part.

On the day, a total of 107 people attended, representing 57 organisations and institutions, from universities to youth organisations; co-operative societies to NGOs. The conference was host to people from 10 different countries, from Canada to Finland; Portugal to Malawi; spanning an age range of 12 to 70. Certainly an extremely diverse event!

Inspiring Speakers came from far and wide including Dame Pauline Green (President of the International Co-operative Alliance), Mervyn Wilson (Principal of the Co-operative College), Saskia Neibig (Young Co-operator and member of Woodcraft Folk), John Mulangeni, Project Manager for Supporting Co-operatives in Malawi programme and Rudiger Meister, ADG (Academy of German Co-operatives). The College propose to make the conference an annual event, building on the success of this year.
